How do I know if a professional organizer is right for me?
At Unmess My Nest we are not just organizing. We believe before you let anyone in your home it is important to meet with the people and trust them so we offer free consultations (in-home or virtual). This is when we get to learn about you and your organizing goal(s). After the consultation, when you decide to work with us, we give you recommendation for the whole project. You will know what will steps will need to be taken, and any product recommendations (if needed). Hauling away unwanted items is also part of our service.
If you have spaces in your home that you’ve been avoiding, home organizing/management tasks that you just don’t have time to get to, or are facing a pressured timeline to get it all done, it’s worth reaching out to learn how we can partner with you to help you knock it out or take this thing off of your plate entirely.
In what step of the divorce process is best for me to meet with a professional organizer and why?
One of the most the most emotional parts of the divorce can be when you or your spouse are moving out from the home you used to share. Going through your belongings that bring back memories, downsizing your home or packing and unpacking for your move is the time we can support you the best. We will listen, will probably cry with you and of course help you when it comes to purging, deciding what to keep and how to organize it all in the best way for your needs.
Whether I'm a breadwinner or a stay-at-home mom, what value will I get out of working with you?
Working with us will save you time and will reduce the stress that comes with divorcing and moving procedures. After all, no matter if you work in or out of the home, you still only have one set of hands. We go above and beyond for our clients, helping you get things done so that you feel peace with your home’s space when you walk through your door.
How do I afford this if I am a stay-at-home mom or don't have access to the finances?
With our free 30 minute consultation, we’ll help you identify and prioritize your level of need and you’ll receive a customized action plan. If your need involves packing up the marital home or even some post-divorce “Nest Management”, you may be able to structure those costs into your separation agreement. To get the best value, you can always start with our 5 hours package. If you think you would need less than that, contact us and we’ll work with you to to see if we can offer something that best fits your needs.
