How do I know if a Certified Divorce Lending Professional (CDLP) is right for me?

If you are going through a divorce, you should speak with a CDLP. Whether you own a marital home and/or rental properties, or if you would like to purchase a home in the future, you should speak with a CDLP to prepare you for the best plan to move forward.

In what step of the divorce process is best for me to meet with a CDLP and why?

As early as possible, especially if you are considering keeping the marital home or if you are looking to purchase a new property due to separation! In fact, it’s never too early. Even if the marital home isn't a point of contention within the divorce, a CDLP can offer you a unique perspective and will also assist you in setting up your future for success when it comes to alimony, child support, homeownership, equitable distributions, etc. Having this proactive conversation can help prepare you with strategic plans to take with you to your mediator or your attorney. It is totally worth your time to make a quick phone call and see what I can do for you!

Whether I'm a breadwinner or a stay-at-home mom, what value will I get out of working with you?

You will get priceless information that will ensure you are in the best position possible. I am here to help you put your best foot forward - specifically when it comes to the marital home, but also in many other areas regarding your finances. Whether you are the breadwinner or a stay-at-home mom, [or anywhere in between] I am an incredible resource to help you put your best foot forward.

How do I afford this if I am a stay-at-home mom or don't have access to the finances?

I am here to be a resource. I do not charge a fee for a consultation, nor do I charge a fee for my services. I earn my living by closing mortgage loans - often times, that is not even a result of the CDLP part of my business and that is ok. There is such a need for this information that I am more than happy to be a resource for those who need me!
